Our Day Training Program
We offer a drop-off training and enrichment program for our students at our training school. This program is for puppies/dogs who have taken at least one round of group classes, or private lessons with us. This program is meant to supplement class/lessons and to help your dog retain obedience and social skills.
Non-students will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and will be evaluated for the program. An initial 2-hour evaluation can be scheduled by appointment – please call or e-mail to schedule.
What is Positive Paws?
Think socialization+enrichment+exercise+obedience training and visualize your pet happy, relaxed, and well-behaved!
Day training is a drop-off, in-house training service offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You drop off your puppy/dog for a half or full day, 1-3 times a week, and we do the training. We work with your dog on basic manners and reinforce skills learned in our classes. In addition, your dog will participate in group play with other dogs as well as individual or group walks with other dogs.
Benefits of our program: your dog will be trained by a professional, certified trainer and will receive several repetitions per visit on the skills your dog needs to learn or maintain. Basic manners include skills from our Puppy K and Basic O curriculum such as sit, down, coming when called, leash walking, wait, settle, etc. This program is for puppies and dogs who have attended class, socials, or private sessions with us.
